The room that was provided was ultra small and barely fitted 2 people. I had to hop across the bed to reach the other side of the bed. I get it, it's London and spaces are cramped and small everywhere including the lifts, but this room was made for half sized people.
Great basic details in the room including an iron and ironing board, coffee/tea and a hair dryer, but the room looked tired and needed a makeover.
Great location, a small stroll to South Kensington and its museums, Cafés and restaurants. Buses and the tube is seconds away from the doorstep.
February 24, 2022We stayed in a standard double room, the room was small, usually this doesn’t bother me as we’re out all day and only use the room for a shower and... read more sleep, but this room took the cake for small. The bed took up majority of the room, barely any room on either side of the bed, by the time we had two bags opened and two people trying to manoeuvre around it felt very crowded. The bathroom door opened 1/2 of the way because it hit the bed, made it very difficult to get in and out (very annoying). The bathroom itself is TINY, standing room only, barely able to dry yourself or get dressed in there. The bathroom door has a big glass panel, yes it’s frosted for privacy, but you can still see someone sitting on the toilet (so not that much privacy) and it beams light into the main room, so it’s impossible not to wake your partner in the middle of the night with the door hitting the bed and it lighting up the room. The shower pressure was very weak and the aircon was loud. The location is great - 2 min walk to Earls Court station, they do a good breakfast, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly.

We arrived at 4pm and only one of... read more the two rooms we had booked was ready for occupancy - no biggy so went out for dinner. We ended up with two rooms at the front of the hotel, they are HOT! The sun shines through the glass windows all day, both rooms had below par aircon but one was simply useless. We raised the issue with the front desk and to be fair they got it sorted while we went for dinner on the 2nd night (basically left the aircon running while we were out). Although we had paid for breakfast we elected to go into town so cannot comment on beakfast, the breakfast room was busy, busy when we were heading out. The reception staff were helpful and printed our boarding passes out for 1 MYR per page. The location is excellent, a short walk from Gaya Street and food/drink. We had a 3,30am departure from the hotel so elected to book a proper Taxi rather than gamble on a GRAB being available (taxi was 3 times the price of a GRAB). We had used GRAB for our entire 3 week trip so didnt feel too bad (strongly recommend GRAB for Sabah)....although at 3.30am I checked the GRAB drivers available and it would not have been a problem to get a GRAB, plenty of cars available. I think the hotel offers value for money and would say again but not in those road facing rooms, just too hot in a small room with kids and medicore aircon.

Arrived at hotel to be greeted by a staff member who clearly didn't care about me.... read more He could see I was on crutches and struggling to walk.i asked for a room with a shower. He gave me the 5th floor and told me where the lift was. However the lift only went to the fourth door. I went back did stairs and asked why firstly he gave me such a room and why he didn't tell me? He shrugged and said well I have one on the second floor but no shower. I took think. The room was freezing and the a.c. would not turn down. I called downstairs and a very helpful man came up and tried but he couldn't. He then managed to turn it off downstairs. I went to make coffee which was undrinkable. I tried the water which tastes terrible. I tried to get to sleep but there was something wrong with the light. This made a load noise every 10 minutes. I keep being woken up and by then was so thirsty. I again called downstairs and the kind staff member brought some water up. The staff this morning when I told them of the issues. Nearly said you can't drink any water in London.
I would say avoid at all costs.

The double - the bed was a standard double so not an awful lot of space in it. The room itself was cramped and there was very little space to move around - we had to duck to get past the TV as there wasnt enough space between the wall it was on and the bed.
The twin - not really a twin as no space between beds although this was not an issue. My bed was broken and sloped to one side. As we were in the basement there was regular noise from the tube. However, the room had far more space than the double. The bathroom is not particularly well laid out, the sink is on a table and is a tight fit - got in the way meaning that there wasnt space to sit straight on on the toilet! You had to sit sideways instead.
Both rooms basic but clean. As always, you get what you pay for.

Tired room, clean and comfy bed but the room smelt of damp and black mould.
For the money you would at least expect bottled water and some bathroom toiletries.
The lady on reception was perfectly pleasant but you felt no one really cared.
I feel sorry for people travelling to London for the first time if this is there experience, price equivalent hotels in other European cities is worlds apart.

One day we left early to go for an activity, and staff prepared a packed breakfast for us as we left before serving started.
The only negative is that the noise from the street and the mosque gets very loud inside the room. We stayed in 8th floor, corner room with windows. One window was broken, so it was alway a bit open. This made noises from outside very loud all day/night.

The staff were polite and although I was not out late each night, the reception is 24-hours.
The location is excellent - just a 2-minute walk from Earls Court Tube and the busy Earls Court Road, packed with pubs & cafes/restaurants.
My only small problem I had would be that on both days my room card did not work when returning to the Hotel. I think the cards are easily de-magnetised if you have them next to your phone etc. in your pocket, so please bear this in mind!
I would recommend this Hotel for a short stay and suggest you book the deluxe double room for more comfort.
