When we came back to the hotel 4/5 hours later to get changed we were surprised to find that the SAME mcdonald’s bag had not been disposed off by staff and had a FRESH hole bit into it by the mouse!! (photos attached). As well as the bin not being emptied after 2 ‘services’ to the room. When I went down to the receptionist to show them the pictures in person they questioned me asking if it was the same hole as before then when I insisted that it wasn’t and compared the two pictures, they said as the hotel was fully booked that we couldn’t change rooms and that if it bothered us that much then we should stay somewhere else. As we only had one night left and it was after 6pm ( so we had dinner and drinks reservations) and it would cost us more money than we could afford to spend booking a new hotel at such last minute, we decided to put up with it for one more night. I couldn’t recommend not staying in this hotel more, the attitude of the staff not seeming to care about their hotel having a rodent infestation and the poor quality of housekeeping’s job of keeping the rooms clean would put anyone off. This hotel is okay, and for £143 overnight with breakfast in central London, the price was good. However, the general standard of accommodation reflects the low price - you get what you pay for.
